April 4,2015. Leg 5 to Itajai onboard Team Alvimedica. Day 17. A broken instrument mount shows a typical Southern Ocean repair--lots and lots of tape. The strong winds begin to subside as the fleet compresses on the southern limit of a high pressure system near Itajai,guaranteeing a close finish in 400 miles for places 1 through 4,all within sight of each other.

The B&G instrument pod shows the vital information to the crew in the cockpit,and it's high contrast easy-to-read numbers are visible,even when wet.
