Chris Nicholson. Team AkzoNobel. With more than 20 years of professional sailing experience behind him, he brings a wealth of knowledge to this campaign. His first Volvo Ocean Race appearance was as a watch captain in 2001-02 on Amer Sports One, skippered by Grant Dalton. He was subsequently watch captain in 2005-06 on board Spanish entry Movistar, and again on PUMA in 2008-09 before skippering Camper with Emirates Team NZ to second place overall in 2011-12.
