Jiru Yang 'Wolf'. Dongfeng Race Team. Wolf was introduced to the sport of sailing by his roommate at Xiamen University and soon started to dream of being an international racing sailor, sticking two post-it notes on his wall: ‘Volvo Ocean Race’ and ‘America’s Cup’. Racing onboard for six legs in 2014-15 was a big learning curve for the Chinese sailor – and he returns stronger, more confident and with a renewed focus ahead of 2017-18.
