Free of the Traffic Separation Schemes (TSS) Alvimedica turns northeast towards the Denmark peninsula in first while the rest of the fleet eventually does the same.

As the first to arrive in The Hague,Alvimedica starts first as the fleet departs for the final sprint to Gothenburg,Sweden,and the finish of the 2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race.

The first day of Leg 7 across the Atlantic Ocean to Lisbon sees the fleet out of Newport with a massive American sendoff,through the Cape and Islands and around various separation and exclusion zones.

The fleet sticks together on the track northwest towards the next cold front,a day or two away,before beginning the final sprint north to Newport,just over 1,000 miles away.
