April 28,2015. Leg 6 to Newport onboard Team Alvimedica. Day 09. 40-plus knots of wind and driving rain flattens the sea under a cloud. An early morning equator crossing--the fourth and final time of the race--brings the fleet back into the Northern Hemisphere on its way northwest towards America.
