June 10,2015. Leg 8 to Lorient onboard Team Alvimedica. Day 3. A dolphin jumps in Seb Marsset's periphery,who is occupied with adjusting the trim of the sails to the rapidly approaching cloud line from the north. A difficult crossing of the Bay of Biscay sees 25-35 knots of wind in a big seaway,but the bulk of the fleet remains in sight after a short split overnight.

A tricky night of choices,most notably whether to sail north inshore along the coast or further offshore to the west,was made tougher by persistently light conditions and clouds.
