Free of the Traffic Separation Schemes (TSS) Alvimedica turns northeast towards the Denmark peninsula in first while the rest of the fleet eventually does the same.

Team Brunel leading the pack. Busy navigation time for Andrew Cape who hasn't slept the first 21 hours of this leg.

A difficult crossing of the Bay of Biscay sees 25-35 knots of wind in a big seaway,but the bulk of the fleet remains in sight after a short split overnight.
